Scott Pye has been the biggest mover across the opening three events of the Beaurepaires Sydney Cup.
The Team 18 driver has gained 35 positions across the first nine races at the first three Sydney Motorsport Park rounds.
Only 10 drivers have gained 20 or more positions from their grid spots across the opening three events.
Pye leads the way ahead of Fabian Coulthard (31), Chaz Mostert (29), Zane Goddard and Todd Hazelwood (both 23).
Mostert made the single biggest gain in a race when he raced from 26th to third in the ARMOR ALL Sydney SuperNight finale.
In Sydney, there have been five single gains of 10 or more positions in a race. There have been 22 in total this season.
Mostert's 23-position gain leads the way, ahead of Anton De Pasquale (26th to 12th, Race 23), Pye (22nd to ninth, Race 23), Will Brown (17th to sixth, Race 25) and Goddard (18th to eighth, Race 26).
Brown's Erebus Motorsport teammate Brodie Kostecki, meanwhile, has lost a staggering 50 positions across the nine races.
He notably lost 16 positions when he crashed out of Race 25 with James Courtney, and 18 positions the day before when he was penalised for pit lane speeding.
The only driver who can hold a candle to Kostecki is Bryce Fullwood, who has lost a combined 41 positions across the first three Sydney events.
The single biggest loss in a race was De Pasquale, who after qualifying on pole for Race 21, was excluded and dropped 23 positions.
Series leader Shane van Gisbergen dropped 22 spots when he was classified 23rd in Race 25, having first bowled a wide at Turn 1 before serving a drive-through penalty for a pit lane infringement.
There have been 15 instances of a driver losing 10 or more spots in a race; Kostecki and Fullwood combine for six of them.
