Todd Kelly's bikesales change

Todd Kelly will race in a special bikesales.com.au livery for this weekend’s WD-40 Phillip Island SuperSprint.

Bikesales.com.au will run on the bonnet and rear of the car, while carsales remains on the sides.

The blue of Kelly’s regular carsales design will be replaced by a bold red, as the lifelong bike fan heads to the home of motorcycle racing in Australia.

The livery change is the first of several that will explore the variety of brands in the carsales family.

“I’m really excited to have bikesales on my Nissan Altima for this weekend at Phillip Island,” Kelly said.

“I’ve been a bike guy my whole life; the first time I got on a bike was when I was only 2 and a half years old and I’ve ridden ever since.

“I was lucky enough to ride into the garage on my KLX 450 today, which we’ve done a bit of work to and I'll be taking it down with me to Phillip Island for a few photos.

“I can’t wait to head to the track this week and rip around in the Altima, but who knows, one day I might have a go at going around Phillip Island on two wheels.”

Following competitive displays of pace during the first two rounds of the season, Nissan Motorsport will be aiming for a strong result this weekend.

Consistent performances during the Phillip Island round last year provide encouraging signs, as the team returns to the track where all four cars recorded a Top 10 result in 2015.

“The whole team is looking forward to the weekend ahead, last time out we showed good pace at Phillip Island. So hopefully this time around we can be competitive and deliver a strong result.”

Kelly sits 11th in the points standings head into the third Championship round for 2016.
