Friday means qualifying at Mount Panorama

Things start to get serious today at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 when the V8 Supercars hit the track to qualify for the Great Race.

But before that, they have two more practice sessions up their sleeves, with part fourkicking off at 9.30am for co-drivers and part 5 at 1.10pm, a free for all last go, followed by the all important qualifying session at 3pm AEST. Make sure you wish your favourite drivers good luck at the official V8 Supercars Autograph session, which will be held outside their pit garages at 11.30am.

But the on track entertainment doesn't end with the V8 Supercars, with the classic Touring Car Masters, Porsche Carrera Cup Australia, Aussie Racing Cars and V8 Utes all taking to the track for qualifying and race one today.

The Dunlop Series will also get some track time ahead of tomorrow's Wilson MedicOne Enduro, with practice and qualifying kicking off today at 10.25am.

While there's no cars on track, there's still plenty to keep you busy at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. Look to the skies to see the RAAF Roulettes performing breath-taking displays, while the Hot Wheels Stuntz Inc Stunt Team will be on track showing their dangerous and spectacular motorbike skills and stunts. The Aussie Bandit will be wheel-standing and blowing flames around the mountain, and the JCB GT Backhoe will be gearing up to set it's World Record. The Australian Defence Force's Project Digger and the Minardi Formula One Car will also be trackside.
