The co-drivers have had their final run for the day at the Castrol EDGE Gold Coast 600, and it's Tony D'Alberto who takes the bragging rights.

D'Alberto, pairing with Tim Slade, recorded the 1min11.4069 on his eighth lap of 15, quicker than the earlier 1min11.5665 recorded by Steven Richards (with Craig Lowndes).

The Supercheap Auto Holden Commodore was 0.18sec quicker than nearest competitor Greg Ritter (with Robert Dahlgren) in the Volvo S60.

Warren Luff (Garth Tander) came home third, with Luke Youlden (Fabian Coulthard), Oliver Gavin (Nick Percat), Steven Johnson (David Wall), Ash Walsh (Scott Pye), Jonathon Webb (Shane van Gisbergen), Alex Davison (Will Davison) and Cam Waters (Jack Perkins) completed the top 10.

Others to note include Steve Owen 11, Greg Murphy 13, and Paul Dumbrell 14.

More drivers were pinged for kerb hopping, with David Russell this time having to stop for two minutes in pit lane. Webb and Tim Blanchard were also black flagged.

A damaged front splitter was reported for car 33, with Alex Premat behind the wheel.

One final practice session, for all drivers, beings at 3.30pm local time.
