Feel the speed

It's time to qualify today at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, and after yesterday's blistering pace, you can be sure the cars will be flying around the mountain as they try and score a spot in the shootout tomorrow.

They'll have a chance to get their cars right before qualifying during two practice sessions today. The co-drivers will hit the track for practice four at 9.10am, before the all drivers session at 11.40am.

Then at 3.50pm, the V8 Supercars will be unleashed onto the mountain for qualifying. It'll be a high-pressure 40-minute session as the drivers try to lock in their place in the shootout to then gun for ARMOR ALL Pole Position tomorrow.

Make sure you wish them good luck and come along to the V8 Supercars paddock for the official V8 Supercars Autograph Session. All drives will appear outside of their team garages for half an hour, meeting fans and signing autographs from 1.30pm.

The V8 Supercars Dunlop Series will also qualify for their mini-enduro today at 3.00pm, after final practice at 10.45am. Meet the drivers at their autograph session at 1.00pm today.

It's a display of racing nostalgia for fans to reminisce and admire the progress of Australian motorsport.

Woodchips will fly during the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS qualifying round at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 today. The top 16 lumberjacks from across Australia will descend on Bathurst like a ton of wood when the axe is dropped. Buckle up for the original extreme sport with the qualifying round kicking off at 9.30am.
