See the Peter Brock Trophy and Bathurst-winning pair up-close on Sunday, and farewell Ford Performance Racing before the season finale, the Sydney NRMA Motoring and Services 500.

Melbourne fans have the opportunity to meet Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 winners Mark Winterbottom and Steve Richards, as well as ARMOR ALL Gold Coast 600 winner Dave Reynolds at the team’s workshop.

Fans can farewell their heroes before the grand finale – which Frosty will be battling to win, currently 124 points adrift of Championship leader Jamie Whincup.

“We are keen to get as many fans along to FPR on Sunday as we can,” Winterbottom said.

“It is the last chance for our Melbourne fans to catch up with Dave and I before we head to Homebush and also the first proper chance Richo and I have had since winning Bathurst to thank the Ford faithful for their support.”

FPR has a new history wall and its extensive trophy display for fans to admire – including this year’s coveted Peter Brock Trophy.

Four FPR race cars will be on display, as well as the Shannons Supercar Showdown final Dunlop Series car.

With team merchandise on hand at the open day, there is the chance to pick up Christmas bargains – there’s even the rare opportunity to own a piece of an FPR race car with panels and rims for sale.

“If you’re lucky I might even be behind the register!” Winterbottom joked.

Head to the FPR Race Centre at 4/40 Glenbarry Rd, Campbellfield in Victoria from 11-3pm on Sunday December 1 (driver from 12-2pm) for the chance to farewell Frosty and the boys before the big finale.

The Sydney NRMA Motoring and Services 500 showdown begins Friday December 6 and tickets are still available through Ticketek.
