Supercars can confirm that this year’s Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 will not take place, due to ongoing safety and logistic concerns brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event, on the streets of Surfers Paradise had been scheduled as the final round of the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship to run over 3-5 December.
Supercars understands that these changes will impact many, but hope the community understands that the public health and safety of our patrons must take priority at this time.
Supercars fully intends to return to the Surfers Paradise street circuit in 2022 and we are confident that everything is headed in the right direction for us to do so in spectacular style.
