COVID-19 protocols mean there will be minimal people onsite at Sydney Motorsport Park this weekend, with media reporting on the event remotely.

In order to provide the public with post-race insights, press conferences will be held at the end of on-track action on each of Saturday and Sunday.

Hosted by Supercars media personality Chad Neylon, the virtual press conferences will be broadcast on platforms including YouTube.

As part of the initiative, the proceedings will give fans the chance to join journalists in asking questions.

Prior to the press conferences, questions to the top three drivers from the most recent race will be prompted via a post on Supercars’ social media channels.

The best bunch will be selected and passed onto Neylon to put to the relevant driver(s).

Virtual press conferences are scheduled to take place from 5:30-5:45pm AEST Saturday and 4:10-4:25pm Sunday.
