The season of endurance will officially be put into gear today, with three intense practice sessions kicking off the on-track action at the Wilson Security Sandown 500.

The action begins with practice one at 10.10am. This single, 30-minute practice session is open to all drivers, with practice two and three exclusively co-driver only. Practice two kicks off at 12.30pm, followed by practice three at 2.35pm.

While the V8 Supercars aren't on track, the high-octane entertainment will continue with adrenalin-charged support categories. The Porsche Carerra Cup, Australian GT, V8 Utes and the Australian Formula 4 Championship are all set to take to the track for their respective practice and qualifying sessions today.

And you can watch all of this action unfold from pole position. The Park and View ticketing option is back at the Wilson Security Sandown 500, allowing fans to see the V8 Supercar drivers navigate the turns at the back of the track from the comfort of their own car. Don't miss out on this Sandown tradition - grab the family, bring the BBQ and cook up a storm while you enjoy all the high-octane entertainment from the best seat in the house.

Car lovers will be in for a treat with the Auto Show showcasing many of Victoria's best classic cars and high-performance vehicles today. Back by popular-demand, the Auto Show will feature an impressive line-up of award-winning collector cars, muscle cars, drag cars and more. It's paradise for any rev-head.

The Hot Wheels Stunt Team and Aussie Bandit Ute will also add to the spectacle, performing their exhilarating shows during the entertainment sessions today.

With kids 12 and under receiving free trackside admission, the Wilson Security Sandown 500 is the ultimate family outing. Let the little race fans try their hand at bike racing at the Motorcycling Australia set-up. Open to kids aged four to nine, the youngsters can test their skills for free on one of the mini bikes in a controlled environment, with experienced coaches and riders on hand to help them hone in on their skills.
