The new-look calendar for the 20th anniversary of Supercars primary support category now includes:
Truck Assist Winton 18-19 July
Penrite Oil Sandown 19-20 September
Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 8-11 October
Sydney Motorsport Park 12-13 December
The inclusion of Dunlop Super2 Series races at these events is reliant upon Supercars being compliant with appropriate State, Territory and Federal regulations in response to COVID-19.
In 2019 the Dunlop Series race at Sandown was a memorable trip for eventual Mike Kable Young Gun winner Tyler Everingham, who claimed his maiden DS2 win on the famous Melbourne circuit.
Another rising star, Jordan Boys claimed victory in the Sunday race, also his first in the category.
The last time Dunlop Super2 drivers raced at Sydney Motorsport Park was in 2017.
Podium winners at that four-race meeting included Macauley Jones, Garry Jacobson, Todd Hazelwood and race winner Anton De Pasquale, the quartet all now full-time Supercars Championship drivers.
Brodie Kostecki of Eggleston Motorsport leads the current Dunlop Super2 Series points tally following the opening round in Adelaide, two points ahead of Thomas Randle, Will Brown is third.
Western Sydney’s Jayden Ojeda leads the rookie standings.
