New South Wales Premier Mike Baird launched V8 Supercars' NSW events today at Circular Quay, in the shadow of Sydney's iconic Harbour Bridge.

Warburton said that these events contribute nearly $100 million to the state's economy each year.

"These events would not be possible for us to stage without the commitment and support of the NSW Government, Destination NSW and our loyal commercial partners," said Warburton.

"Last year these three V8 Supercars events attracted a staggering 360,000 fans, including more than 195,000 fans who flocked through the gates at Bathurst."

Premier Baird said NSW was incredibly proud to have the sport visit, building a great industry around it.
