DJR retains PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge lead

Shell V-Power Racing Team retained its PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge lead after a dramatic Perth weekend.

Points were only allocated in Race 10, with Races 11 and 12 featuring Safety Car interventions.

Tickford Racing dropped from second to fifth, with Brad Jones Racing moving to outright second.

Walkinshaw Andretti United is now third, with the team quick in the lane despite its on-track woes.

BJR paced the Race 10 stops, clocking the first and third quickest stops in the race; DJR was second.

Positions eight through 12 remained the same, although Red Bull Ampol Racing is within touching distance of the top four.

The 2022 Pit Stop Challenge will continue at the upcoming Winton SuperSprint.

Darwin, Tailem Bend, Sandown and Pukekohe comprise the rest of the challenge.

Teams will go head to head in pursuit of $20,000 and the coveted 'Golden Rattle Gun Trophy'.

The live finals will be held at October's Repco Bathurst 1000.
