Dedicated Bathurst channel kicks off for 2022

Fox Sports launches 24/7 channel for October's Great Race

Fox Sports' dedicated Bathurst channel has returned to screens to kick off the network’s week-long coverage.

Foxtel subscribers will receive the most comprehensive coverage of this year’s Repco Bathurst 1000.

Every Supercars session, including the ARMOR ALL Top Ten Shootout and the Great Race, will be shown live and ad-break free.

Foxtel channel 503 is taking this year's coverage, with the event streamed live on Kayo.

The pop-up Bathurst channel will feature a raft of Bathurst specials, documentaries and race replays.

A 'Chaz Mostert: 2021 King of the Mountain’ special will air throughout the week from Monday October 3.

Two-time Bathurst champion Mostert recounts his popular win last December.

A 'Farewell Holden' special, which takes a look back at the brand’s iconic history at Mount Panorama, will air on Thursday October 6.

Foxtel’s live coverage will begin on Thursday October 6 at 7:25am AEDT, kicking off over 40 hours of live broadcasting from the circuit. Check out the full TV schedule here.

Top 5 to watch at the Repco Bathurst 1000

Jess Yates will host the Fox Sports coverage, with Supercars Hall of Famers Mark Skaife and Neil Crompton in commentary.

Chad Neylon, Matt Naulty and Richard Craill will lead the support category coverage.

Fan favourite Mark Larkham to return as a pit lane reporter alongside Riana Crehan.

The Bathurst broadcast will feature over 100 track and speciality cameras, and requires 241 television crew members.

Friday’s coverage will begin on Fox Sports channel 503 at 7:45am AEDT, with qualifying for the Dunlop Series beginning at 9:20am AEDT.

Supercars will complete two more practice sessions across the day leading into ARMOR ALL Qualifying at 4:15pm local time.

Friday Night Live will also feature the live PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge finals.

Friday night’s coverage begins at 7:00pm AEDT.

Fox Sports will commence its Saturday broadcast at 8:10am AEDT, with the Top Ten Shootout to begin at 5:05pm local time.

Most bizarre and controversial Bathurst moments ever

Foxtel’s coverage on Sunday will start at 7:15am AEDT, with the 161-lap Great Race beginning at 11:15am AEDT.

The Seven Network will bring fans three full days of live action from Friday.

Seven’s live and free coverage starts at 10.00am AEDT Friday 7 October on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus.

Saturday’s coverage starts at 10.00am AEDT on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus.

Seven’s race day coverage begins at 7.30am AEDT Sunday on Channel 7 and 7plus.

Sunrise Sport Presenter Mark Beretta and 7NEWS Sydney Sport Presenter Mel McLaughlin will lead Seven’s Bathurst 1000 coverage.

Jack Perkins, who will race with Will Brown, will provide expert commentary in between sessions.

Brad Hodge and Emma Freedman will bring viewers all the colour, while Chris Stubbs will have all the latest news over the three days.
