Will Davison will join Network Ten’s free-to-air broadcast of the upcoming BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown.
The two-time Bathurst 1000 winner has kept a low profile since being an unfortunate casualty out of the COVID-19 shutdown, when the major backer of his 23Red Racing Mustang was forced to withdraw their support.
That left an in-form Davison on the sidelines and he’s been plotting his return for a co-drive at Bathurst in October and a full-time 2021 ride ever since.
In the meantime, he’ll join Ten’s panel as an expert analyst for the August 8-9 race meeting at Hidden Valley Raceway, alongside hosts Scott Mackinnon and Kate Peck.
Commentary of on-track action will be simulcast from Fox Sports experts Neil Crompton and Mark Skaife.
Ten, which recently confirmed it will not continue as Supercars’ free-to-air partner beyond this year, also revealed it will provide live coverage of the Townsville round on August 29-30.
Three 38-lap races will feature across the BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown event.
