Amid signing a two-year deal with Supercars, youth telco Boost Mobile will be naming rights sponsor to the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 in 2021

It was confirmed Thursday that Boost Mobile, one of the world's leading youth Telco brands, has linked up with the category from 2021.

The Gold Coast event will return in 2021, having missed out last year amid difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Surfers Paradise streets will host the season finale, marking a chance for the Gold Coast to see a champion crowned.

The brand will also back the James Courtney Tickford entry and Brodie Kostecki Erebus car this season.

Supercars CEO Sean Seamer was delighted Boost Mobile and founder Peter Adderton have come onboard to back the marquee event.

"Peter and his team have supported Supercars for a long time through various partnerships and we are thrilled to have them on board as our Official Telco Partner and naming rights partner of the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500," Seamer said.

Boost Mobile has a long association with Supercars dating back to the first ever international event for the series held in New Zealand 19 years ago.

"The last time Boost Mobile had a naming rights sponsorship of a Supercars event was 2002," Adderton said.

"The Gold Coast street race is an iconic event, and we are proud to be the naming rights sponsor of the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.

"Our brand is going from strength to strength and this is yet another way we can help introduce people to Boost brand and the incredible service we offer."

The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 is the season finale for the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship and will run on the streets of Surfers Paradise from 3-5 December.

Cars will hit the track on Friday for opening practice of the Repco Mt Panorama 500. Tickets are on sale now.

This weekend’s event will be broadcast live on Foxtel and the Seven Network, and will be streamed on Kayo. Check out the full TV schedule here.
