The season-ending Repco Bathurst 1000 has drawn major broadcast and digital numbers.

Sunday’s Great Race, won by Chaz Mostert and Lee Holdsworth, was the final race of the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship.

More than 1.6 million people tuned in across the Seven Network and Foxtel to watch the race, delivering an increase on 2020.

An average metropolitan audience of 747,000 watched the race on Seven, which increased to 816,000 at the end of the race.

The race average broadcast audience was up 11.2 per cent across the capital cities on the 2020 coverage, with the podium up 24.1 per cent.

An additional 533,000 tuned in regional areas, combining for a national free-to-air audience of 1.28 million.

More than 18.6 million minutes were streamed on 7plus.

The Foxtel coverage was 371,000 for the race, which was a six per cent increase on 2020.

The total Seven and Foxtel audience of 1.65 million was up by more than six per cent on 2020.

Supercars’ digital offering also delivered its biggest week of the year.

The Supercars website, across the six-day event, brought in nearly 1.31 million users, 3.7 million visits and 411,000 video streams.

The offical Supercars Facebook account, between Tuesday and Sunday, recorded a 5.9 million reach, 21.2 million impressions and 2.1 million engagements.

Between Tuesday and Sunday, the official Supercars YouTube account produced 1.3 million views, with nearly 112,000 hours of content watched.

Additionally, the official Supercars TikTok account, which was only launched in July, ticked over 43,000 followers and has produced over 522,000 likes.

The 13-event 2022 Repco Supercars Championship will commence in Newcastle next year. Tickets for the event are on sale now.

The 13-round draft calendar was released on Sunday.
