Brad Jones Racing has uncovered new naming rights for Macauley Jones’s Bathurst bid.

The Jones/Jordan Boys #96 Commodore will carry Wet & Forget backing next weekend.

Wet & Forget will be naming rights sponsor of the car for the biggest race of the season.

Boys’s personal sponsor Joss has also come onboard for the October 6-9 event.

The fresh #96 scheme is one of a number of new liveries for the 2022 Great Race.

Next weekend’s race will be Jones’s eighth Bathurst start, and Boys’s second.

Team owner Brad Jones was keen to do the new backers proud with the new-look car.

"We have a long-standing relationship with Rod and Dave from Wet & Forget,” Jones said.

“They’ve supported us for a number of years so it’s great to have them on board as a naming rights sponsor, particularly for such a big event like Bathurst.

“Joss Group supporting Macca and Jordan is also fantastic to see - two Albury boys in an Albury-based team with the backing of an Albury-based business.

"This doesn’t happen very often, so we want to do them proud.”

Dave Hookey, Wet & Forget’s Manager for Retail Operations, was keen to see his company represented on the big stage.

“We’re excited to be joining Macauley and Jordan for their Bathurst 1000 attack,” Hookey said.

“To be showcasing Wet & Forget to the people of Australia and indeed the world on the #96 car.

"The car looks absolutely fantastic; this is the biggest race of the Supercar series.

“We cannot wait to see the guys take on the Mount Panorama circuit."

Cars will hit the track at Mount Panorama for Practice 1 on Thursday October 6.

Tickets for the Repco Bathurst 1000 are available on Supercars.com and Ticketek.
