BJR gaps WAU in PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge

BJR extends lead over WAU in second Sydney event

Brad Jones Racing extended its PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge lead at last weekend’s ARMOR ALL Sydney Su-perNight.

BJR entered the weekend 24 points ahead of Walkinshaw Andretti United.

With the crew of Todd Hazelwood’s car taking out top spot in Race 24, BJR extended its lead to 29 points.

The Albury squad’s second crew also claimed Race 23 honours on Jack Smith’s car.

Shell V-Power Racing Team closed the gap to WAU to one point, having been nine points behind after the first Sydney event.

Tickford Racing also closed the gap to WAU; the Ford team was 12 points down after the first Sydney event, and is now 10 points behind.

Best overtakes at the ARMOR ALL Sydney SuperNight

Red Bull Ampol Racing remains fifth; teams second through fifth are covered by 20 points.

No points were awarded for Race 25, which featured the BP Ultimate Safety Car.

The top eight places remain the same as post the Bunnings Trade Sydney SuperNight.

The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will resume this weekend at the BP Ultimate Sydney Super-Sprint.

Every session of the event will be broadcast live on Foxtel (Fox Sports 506) and streamed on Kayo.

The Seven Network will showcase highlights of the event.
