Supercars will feature the Tickford Racing documentary across multiple digital channels from Sunday.

The documentary, skippered by Infocus Media’s Tom Rattenbury, will go live on the Supercars website and YouTube channel at 6:30pm on Sunday.

Rattenbury was on the road with client Tickford during the 2020 season, with the Victorian-based squad kept away from its Melbourne base for 106 days amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The #6 Mustang was a force on the mountain

The documentary, titled 'More Than A 1000', aired on Foxtel during the Penrite Oil Sandown SuperSprint weekend.

The feature culminates in Tickford’s bid to win last October’s Bathurst 1000.

There, Cameron Waters clinched pole for the Great Race, before going on the finish second alongside Will Davison.

The 161-lap classic saw a tussle between the #6 Monster Energy Mustang and the #97 Red Bull Holden entry of Shane van Gisbergen and Garth Tander.

The latter duo went on to win the race following a spate of late Safety Car periods, with Waters clinching a maiden Bathurst 1000 podium.

Waters returned to the mountain last month for the season-opening Repco Mt Panorama 500, recording a second place in Sunday’s Race 2.

The Repco Supercars Championship field will return to Symmons Plains for the Beaurepaires Tasmania SuperSprint across April 10-11. Tickets are on sale now.

The event will be broadcast live on Foxtel and will be streamed on Kayo.
