Strongman pulls Supercar transporter with his teeth!

Australian strongman Troy Conley has partnered with Team 18 to pull the squad’s B-double transporter at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Powered by his brute-force strength and mighty legs, Conley pulled the 45-tonne Kenworth A and B trailer across the circuit's dummy grid on Monday.

Supported by Mark Winterbottom and Scott Pye for the attempt, Conley moved the heavy truck, including its 32-tyres, several metres.

"I'm glad it’s him and not me," Winterbottom joked.

"We were all cheering him on, and it's all for a good cause too, and it’s very cool to see and cool to be part of.

"The truck is Charlie’s [Schwerkolt] pride and joy, his business is obviously forklift and transport, so for him, he gets very passionate about the truck.

"Charlie will take great pride in being a part of this."

Scott Pye added: "I’m really excited to be a part of the Team 18 truck pull.

"It’s a big rig so I was keen to see how far we could get it pulled with a bit of encouragement from myself and Frosty.

"Frosty and I were cheering all the way, I think getting it off the line was the trickiest part.

"But it is something that I've never seen before. I was keen to just witness it."

The 38-year-old strongman has been training for the past eight years and has previously pulled heavy planes, 20-tonne trucks and even a tall ship through Sydney Harbour.

Conley has doubled his efforts, attempting to haul 45 tonnes of truck, normally used to move Winterbottom’s and Pye’s Supercars.

Conley successfully moved the large hauler using a harness, and then completed a second incredible feat, pulling Team 18’s prime mover using only his teeth.

"It feels amazing," Conley said of the attempt.

"It’s a testament to the boys, they've just raced all weekend, and they are out here first thing on a Monday morning to help me out.

"They don't need to be here, but they want it to be, so it was really nice.

"I got a good sleep last night and up early this morning and we got it done.

"It's been the heaviest thing I've pulled, I've spent the last 11 months training hard and raising some really critical money for Little Wings, Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation and Ron McDonald House Charities Australia.

"This is the last heavy training for me and then hopefully we can get the job done for the World Record."

It comes as Conley is aiming to break the current Guinness World Record of 15 vehicles pulled by an individual male on November 17.

The big-hearted giant has raised more than $52,000 for the Help for Kids’ Foundation and their partner charities, Little Wings, Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation and Ronald McDonald House.

The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will resume this weekend at the ARMOR ALL Sydney SuperNight.
