It’s qualifying day at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide – see who will start from the front row of the grid for Saturday’s two races, and who is the first race winner of the Dunlop Series season.

The Touring Car Masters and Formula 3 warm up the crowd, with first running at 9.35am local time.

And shortly after, it’s what everyone is waiting for. The V8 Supercars head out for an all-in practice session, the first 30-minute run of what is set to be an awesome weekend.

Following is Dunlop Series qualifying, with a new format that divides the field into two to cater for this year’s extraordinary numbers.

There’s plenty of time on-track for the main attraction, with the V8 Supercars running two further 30-minute practice sessions before two 15-minute qualifying sessions at 3pm to determine the grid for tomorrow’s two 125km races.

Quickest in the second session will start from ARMOR ALL Pole Position in the twilight race, which many of the drivers are looking forward to.

Later in the evening, the Dunlop Series’ race one will begin at 6.15pm.

Other support categories will entertain throughout the day with Carrera Cup and V8 Utes, as well as the Nissan Time Attack display showcasing electric race car the Nissan Leaf Nismo RC.

Bliss N Eso, with Horrorshow and All Day also at the concert stage.

Grab your Paddock Pass and see the cars and transporters up close – you may even be lucky enough to catch your favourite driver! If so, snap a photo and share with #MyV8 – the best images will be picked up by V8 Supercars and run in exclusive fan galleries.
