A treat for car lovers

Car lovers will be in for a treat at the Wilson Security Sandown 500, with many of Victoria's best classic cars and high-performance vehicles on showcase at the Auto Show.

Back by popular demand, the Auto Show will feature an impressive line-up of award-winning collector cars, muscle cars, drag cars and more across the three days of the enduro classic.

The Auto Show at the Wilson Security Sandown 500 is regarded as one of Victoria's best annual feature shows, with car owners eager to put their pride and joys on display at Melbourne's historic home of motorsport, said show organiser Ian Badock.

"The Wilson Security Sandown 500 is one of Australia's great motorsport events with a long history of spectacular action, and the Auto Show is the perfect fit for the event," Badock said.

"It provides the paying public with a great show and is free to see for every ticket holder.

"Sandown Raceway is a super venue and all show exhibitors seem to put in that extra effort each year with the quality and presentation of their cars as they all hope to be a trophy winner at the special show."

Located underneath the grandstand and in the surrounding areas, the Auto Show will feature 25 trophy categories, with car owners vying for titles such as Best Paint, Top Interior and the ultimate award - Grand Champion of the Show.
