The 2022 Dunlop Super2 Series grid continues to take shape, as the opening round in Sydney looms.

The 2022 season will again feature combined grid races for the Super2 and Super3 Series.

Last year’s Super2 Series winner Broc Feeney will not be returning to the category in 2022.

Feeney has made the leap to the main game, having replaced the retiring Jamie Whincup at Red Bull Ampol Racing.

Feeney’s former Triple Eight Race Engineering teammate Angelo Mouzouris confirmed his switch to MW Motorsport on Thursday.

The 20-year-old will also complete a full season in the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship alongside his Super2 campaign.

It ended several months of speculation over the Victorian-born driver's future in the development series.

Mouzouris joins rookie Thomas Maxwell at title-winning MW Motorsport, with Tyler Everingham returning to the squad for his third season.

Reigning title winners Triple Eight confirmed an all-new driver line-up for 2022, with Carrera Cup champion Cameron Hill to line up for his rookie Super2 season.

Third-year driver Declan Fraser also joins the Banyo squad for 2022, replacing Feeney in the now #777 Triple Eight Commodore.

Elly Morrow will contest her maiden Super2 campaign with Brad Jones Racing, making the step up from Super3.

Zak Best, who finished second in the series last year, will return with Tickford Racing. The 20-year-old was also confirmed to co-drive for the squad in this year’s Bathurst 1000.

Mike Kable Young Gun Award winner Matt McLean will return for his second year in the series with Eggleston Motorsport.

McLean, a karting ace, impressed in his rookie season to finish fifth overall.

Matthew Payne will complete his first full-time Super2 campaign for Grove Racing.

The New Zealand teenager will contest the six-round series aboard the Nissan Altima he raced at the final two rounds of the 2021 Super2 season.

Third-generation racer Aaron Seton returns for his second year with Matt Stone Racing, with SuperUte champion Ryal Harris completing the Yatala-based team's Super2 line-up.

Rising star Jay Hanson was confirmed to debut for Image Racing on Wednesday.

The Erebus Academy announced it had secured the teenager following his first victory in the TCR Australia series on Sunday at Symmons Plains.

He joins second-year driver Jaylyn Robotham, who finished 12th overall in 2021.
