There’s plenty to keep your eyes on as the 25 V8 Supercars navigate the shortest track on the calendar.

Tickets are still available for the Tyrepower Tasmania 400, and trackside ticket holders are able to upgrade to grandstand seating for just $20 at any of the gates.

With qualifying at 11.25am AEDT, competitors have 20 minutes to find that perfect lap and position themselves as high up the grid as possible.

Then at 3.55pm it begins – a full-blown sprint, with two pit stops, and plenty of action promised.

There’s plenty to keep you occupied at the circuit, with the chance to meet your favourite drivers during the 1pm autograph session, at the back of team garages. Grab a Paddock Pass so you can see the teams operating up close.

The V8 Supercars Disney Fun Zone returns, providing entertainment for the whole family. Have your photo taken with Mack the Transporter and Lightning McQueen, bounce on the new Planes-themed inflatable zone or make a plane to take home in the new Planes hanger. The inflatable slide is always a favourite.

It’s forecast fine weather today, with a top of 24 degC and there are still plenty of car parks available, as well as Park n View, which allows you to take your car into the circuit and watch at the hairpin, one of the most exciting parts of the 2.4km track.

There’s plenty to see on-track with Aussie Racing Cars, Sports GT and HQ Holdens supporting the event, along with Matt Hall’s Aerial Display today and tomorrow.

The track is also hosting the Taste of Tasmania mini food festival, with food stalls offering beautiful fresh local produce like wagyu beef burgers, spit roast, pork belly and fresh fish.

Be there today for what promises to be the biggest race at the Tyrepower Tasmania 400 – tickets are available now.

For those in other states, see the Ways to Follow article for information on coverage, including free-to-air TV times.

Can Red Bull Racing Australia do it again? Can Mark Winterbottom go one better and stand on the top step? Can Craig Lowndes replicate that amazing drive that saw him carve through the field from 25th to fifth? Will the Volvos make 200km around Symmons Plains?
