He may not have the most wins at Hidden Valley, but few have fonder memories of the Top End than Michael Caruso.
A then 26-year-old Caruso scored his first career Supercars win at the venue in 2009 driving a Garry Rogers Motorsport Holden.
Caruso made the most of that year’s rules which saw just one set of soft tyres allocated per weekend – which could be used in either the Saturday or Sunday race.
It took seven years for Caruso to win his second Supercars race and, fittingly, it also came at Hidden Valley last year – breaking a three year drought for Nissan in the process.
Relive Caruso’s two golden moments above as part of our video series celebrating 20 years of Supercars racing in the Northern Territory.
