Shane van Gisbergen was the main man at the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight, winning his 14th race of 2021 before clinching the title a day later.

Sunday's race was abandoned due to inclement weather, less than 24 hours after van Gisbergen pulled off a brilliant victory.

After the weekend's final of four straight Sydney Motorsport Park, Supercars.com lists the 10 key statistics from the 11th round of the season.

14) Van Gisbergen became just the 14th driver to win two or more ATCC/Supercars drivers' titles, and just the third New Zealander after Jim Richards and Scott McLaughlin.

4) Van Gisbergen also helped New Zealand to its fourth straight drivers' title, and fifth in six years; McLaughlin won in 2018, 2019 and 2020, with van Gisbergen winning in 2016.

3) Van Gisbergen led only three laps in his Race 29 victory, his fewest laps led in a winning effort this season.

10) Triple Eight Race Engineering clinched its 10th teams' championship, drawing alongside Dick Johnson Racing.
