Aaron Cameron states desire to be entrenched in Supercars midfield
Blanchard Racing Team rookie pushing case to remain at team in 2026
Cameron to pair up with returning Zak Best in Enduro Cup
Blanchard Racing Team rookie Aaron Cameron has outlined his goals for the remainder of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship following a career best weekend in Ipswich.
Cameron claimed his maiden top 10 qualifying and race results in the final Sprint Cup round at Queensland Raceway, continuing a strong run of form for BRT that began with James Courtney's emotional Perth podium.
After replacing Aaron Love following the opening round of the season in Sydney, the 25-year-old enters his first Ryco Enduro Cup as a primary driver alongside returning young gun Zak Best.
Bathurst will be the first time that Cameron will race at a track with prior main game experience, and is eager to put that experience to good use as he looks to become a constant presence in the midfield.
"I guess for us, it's more trying to get that consistency. We've shown flashes of decent speed, we're not talking about podiums or winning the thing, but consistently top 15 to top 10 is where I want to be at," Cameron told Supercars.com.
"Especially at the end of this year, going to some more circuits that I know better, and I've gone good at in the past, so it's all about consistency.
"If I can do that, then you make yourself pretty hard to sack going into 2026."

Amid a silly season where BRT will be involved, Cameron is believed to be remaining with the team into 2026, as James Courtney prepares to retire at seasons' end.
Should he remain, Cameron would continue a successful partnership with race engineer Daniel Veronese, who engineered the Victorian to a runner-up finish in last year's Dunlop Super2 Series at Kelly Racing.
"Yeah for sure, I probably tried to set myself up a couple of years ago to go to BRT for enduros," he continued
"Eventually the plan was to replace JC, but it was a bit earlier than I thought getting into the car #3 side, but for me I love the team.
"There's plenty of people I've worked with at previous teams in lower categories, and I can't imagine myself anywhere else."
Cameron also stated that he would like to see Courtney's experience replaced with another Supercars veteran in BRT's 2026 driver line-up.
There could be plenty of options for experienced drivers for BRT to look at, with the likes of David Reynolds, Nick Percat, Jack Le Brocq, and Bryce Fullwood all potential players in the driver market.
"I'm on the experienced side of things as long as I get the nod," Cameron said.
"James has been I wouldn't say crucial to my development, but he's been a really big help in terms of when I get to these tracks - some of them I haven't even been to - just little tips and tricks about surfaces.
"And then tips and tricks for circuits I have been to in terms of Supercars, I've learned so much, and I'm actually pretty bummed that he's retiring.
"I'd love for him to do another year so I can just get a bit more information out of him. I'd love for him to stay around and be my co-driver next year."
The Ryco Enduro Cup commences at the AirTouch 500 at The Bend from September 12-14, before the Repco Bathurst 1000 from October 9-12.
