VAILO Adelaide 500 announces first ever Track to Town

In an event first, the VAILO Adelaide 500 will get an early taste of V8 power with a maiden Track to Town event, with all 24 Supercars to parade through the city streets.

The Track to Town parade on Wednesday November 13 will see the Adelaide CBD gear up for the 2024 season finale, with fans able to see all 24 Ford and Chevrolet Supercars parade through the city.

Drivers will take their Supercars to the public autograph session in Victoria Square on Wednesday afternoon, a day before track action commences.

The cars will leave Adelaide pit lane in Victoria Park at 4:45pm local time, with fans to line the streets and cheer on their favourite drivers, who will take in a lap of the Adelaide Street Circuit en-route to Victoria Square.

Once drivers arrive in Victoria Square, fans can get up close to the full grid of the Gen3 Supercars and meet all the drivers with a free autograph session from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

On Tuesday November 12, fans can line the streets as the team transporters roll into Adelaide for the Transporter Parade, en-route to the Adelaide Street Circuit.

The extended route, starting at 12:45pm from CMV Trucks Cavan, will allow for great viewing locations including Main North Road, King William Street and Victoria Square before reaching the Adelaide Street Circuit at approximately 1:15pm.

South Australian Motor Sport Board CEO Mark Warren said: “The Track to Town and Transporter Parade are the perfect way for the Repco Supercars Championship to roll into Adelaide and for fans to be part of the excitement ahead of the 2024 VAILO Adelaide 500.

“Track to Town is such an exciting concept and spectacle for our fans with all of the Supercars parading from the circuit to the city before the free and popular Supercars drivers autograph session.’

“Excitingly, Victoria Square in the heart of the Adelaide CBD will be the go-to destination on Wednesday 13 November, where the free access to the field will be incredible, and the atmosphere will start to take shape for the 25th year of the VAILO Adelaide 500.”
