On Track Resident Access Applications
From 12:01am Friday 23 October to 7:00pm Sunday 25 October 2026, the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 event precinct will be secured. Entry will be via a Resident Access Pass or a valid event ticket only.
If you reside within the event precinct and will be at your residence across 23–25 October 2026, you will need to apply for resident access. The purpose of Resident Access Passes is to allow those within the event precinct to enter their homes during the event.
It is vital that you always wear your resident access wristband, as you will be required to show it to security to re-enter the event precinct through any of the event gates.
Please ensure your application is submitted as early as possible to avoid delays. Approved resident passes can be collected from the Accreditation Centre.
All residents living within the restricted event precinct must apply online if they require access during the event period. Click here to refer to the restricted event precinct zone .

Vehicle Movements (23-25 October)
On-Circuit Vehicle Access:
On Friday 23 October, before the engines fire up for the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, runners will take over the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit for a one-lap or two-lap run of the track.
As a result, the track closure times have been updated to the following.
Friday, 23 October 2026 | Closed from 6:00am to 6:00pm |
Saturday, 24 October 2026 | Closed from 7:00am to 7:00pm |
Sunday, 25 October 2026 | Closed from 7:00am to 7:00pm |
During event hours, all vehicles must be parked either in private garages or outside the event precinct. Vehicle entry and exit WILL NOT be possible during these hours.
We recommend moving your vehicles outside the precinct on Thursday night OR 30 minutes prior to track closure on Friday to avoid any further disruptions. Please be aware that we expect increased traffic in the area on the morning of this event.
If your vehicle is not removed from street parking within the precinct by closure time, it will be subject to towing.
Track Club powered by Boost Mobile gives you the chance to run the iconic Surfers Paradise Street Circuit before the Supercars hit the track, then celebrate with your crew with live music, great food and drinks on offer.

Alternate Parking Option for On-Track Residents: Main Beach Parking Passes:
As an alternative, On-Track Residents may also collect Main Beach Parking Passes.
The City of Gold Coast will activate the Main Beach Traffic Area over the weekend, enforcing a 2-hour timed parking zone.
You can apply for Main Beach Parking Passes in your on-track resident application.
These permits grant extended parking within the designated 2-hour Event Parking zones, but do not override existing City of Gold Coast parking signs. Always check local signage before parking.
The 2-hour parking restrictions apply only during the event weekend, specifically from 9:00am to 5:00pm on:

Collecting your Resident Access Passes
There are two ways to collect your Resident Access Passes, in your application you may select:
For your building manager to collect your passes on your behalf. (note this is only applicable if your building has a building manager)
To collect your passes from the accreditation centre, if you select this option, please note the below information.
The Accreditation Centre is located in Helen Park along the corner of Tedder Avenue and Breaker Street.
To collect your pass, please bring a valid form of photo identification. Without proof of identity, we are unable to provide you with your passes.
At times, the resident accreditation centre may be busy, with wait times extending beyond 10 minutes.
We appreciate your patience as we give each resident our full attention.

Prohibited Items
Alcohol & glass policy: | Open full-strength alcoholic beverages and glass bottles are not permitted within the event precinct between 7:00am and 7:00pm on event days, except within private residences or accommodation. |
Prohibited objects | Items deemed prohibited are not permitted within the event precinct without prior approval. Lists will be displayed at entry points and are available upon request. |
Smoking | Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas within the precinct. Residents may smoke within the perimeter of their building. |
Pets in the Precinct
We understand pets are part of the family and that the event period can be busier and noisier than usual.
Residents are welcome to take pets outside their building as required, including for bathroom breaks or when entering or exiting the precinct.
However, due to safety requirements, pets are not permitted within the Macintosh Island and the Hill area during the event period (excluding service animals).
