Mason Barbera

Mason Barbera lines up for a third Dunlop Super2 Series campaign this year with Garry Rogers Motorsport.

Still relatively inexperienced in car racing, Barbera went from 17th in the 2017 standings to 13th in '18.

That included personal-best grid and race results of fifth and sixth at Barbagallo Raceway.

The Queenslander won a number of state and national titles in karts before making the step up into the V8 Utes Series in a Falcon in 2016.

Barbera finished fifth in the points with two race wins and one pole position and made the step up into Super2 in 2017 while still racing a Ute.

He elected to call time on Utes mid-year to fully focus on learning the tricky art of mastering a Supercar.

When he’s not racing, Bundaberg-born-and-bred Barbera is working on the family farm, Barbera Farms.
