Jason Gomersall will move his racing efforts under his own banner for 2023 in a two-car Dunlop Series entry.

After several seasons driving for Matt Stone Racing — the Repco Supercars Championship team he holds a financial stake in — Gomersall's outfit will field a Super3 entry for himself and a Super2 entry for rising star Aaron Seton.

The founder and CEO of data management company iseek, Gomersall was a relative latecomer to motorsport at the age of 30.

He competed in Formula Vee for several seasons before moving into V8 Utes, making his debut in the category in 2008 at the final Supercars Championship round held at Oran Park. Gomersall was a regular in the popular series for the next few years before switching to Touring Car Masters full-time for the 2013 season.

Campaigning a Holden Torana LH SL/R5000 before upgrading to an A9X, he became a regular winner in TCM's Pro-Am division and claimed the division title in 2016.

He made his Supercars debut in the Super3 Series in 2019 and has been a regular in the class ever since, claiming his first third-tier podium finish in the sole race at Mount Panorama last year.
