YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

Supercars is undergoing a digital transformation, recently launching a new website, app, and CDP. We are seeking a self-motivated and strategic thinker to drive the growth and scale of our digital platforms.

The Digital Media Manager will be responsible for the user experience across all Supercars digital platforms, including the website and app. Working closely with the marketing team, you will ensure seamless web/mobile design and successful implementation of best practices in user interface and user experience (UI/UX).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Analytics and Strategy

  • Develop and execute data-driven strategies to maximise user engagement and website performance.

  • Utilize analytics tools to identify key user journeys and optimise content and functionality accordingly.

  • Set measurable performance goals and track progress towards achieving them.

Content Management

  • Manage and update content across all digital platforms, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and timeliness.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop engaging and informative content.

  • Implement editorial best practices and maintain brand consistency.

Process Improvement

  • Analyse and identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

  • Develop and implement process improvements to optimize digital operations.

  • Manage and monitor the performance of digital processes.

Website and App Management

  • Ensure the website and app are functioning optimally and delivering a seamless user experience.

  • Work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve user problems.

  • Implement new features and functionality based on user feedback and data insights.

Marketing and Communication

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns.

  • Utilizs digital platforms to promote Supercars events, merchandise, and partnerships.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

SEO and Online Presence

  • Manage SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and drive traffic to Supercars digital platforms.

  • Monitor and analyse website traffic data to identify trends and optimize online presence.

  • Stay informed about evolving SEO best practices and implement them effectively.

Emerging Technologies

  • Maintain an awareness of emerging technologies and trends in the digital landscape.

  • Evaluate new technologies and identify potential applications for Supercars digital platforms.

  • Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve user experience and performance.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience managing content updates across key digital properties.

  • Proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Prior experience with web analytics, SEO, and A/B testing.

  • Prior experience with different industry tools such as: Contentful, JIRA, Google Analytics, Microsoft Product Suite, Photoshop, plus more.

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrates technical acumen, with broad knowledge of technical trends and new solutions.

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and experience with Supercars' current CMS (Contentful) is a plus.

Leadership and Communication

  • Proven experience in building and managing stakeholder and team member relationships at all levels.

  • Highly organized with effective project and time management skills.

  • Process-driven with strong attention to detail.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong management skills with a professional attitude.

Digital Expertise

  • Possess thorough knowledge of online, mobile, and all other digital services, iOS, Android, and other mobile & online software applications.

  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
