Venue and Opening Hours

What time can I come into the venue? Hidden Valley Raceway will open at the following hours

Friday 18th June for Nitro Up North at 5pm (gates open at 10am for viewing of practice sessions by the Supercars, Australian Superbikes and Stadium Super Trucks)

Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June at 7am

Where is Hidden Valley located? Off Tiger Brennan Road, Hidden Valley is located approximately 10kms from Darwin CBD.

Transport

Is there public transport to Hidden Valley? There is a dedicated bus service from throughout Darwin to the venue, please refer back here closer to the event for the full timetable

Is there public car parking available? There is free public parking at the venue located at Gate 3.

Ticketing info

I purchased my ticket online, can I pick it up before the event? Tickets are electronic and will be emailed to you

Can I purchase a ticket at an outlet? This year all tickets are available online or at the gate

Why did I not get a Hot Pass souvenir ticket this year? This year we have invested in an action-packed program with more motorsport than ever before, therefore no Souvenir Tickets will be available in 2021

Can I purchase a concession ticket? Concession tickets for students and pensioners can be purchased online or at the gate with appropriate ID. Please remember if you do purchase online you will be required to show your ID at the gate

Does my ticket get me into the Nitro Up North? All valid entry tickets for Friday allow access to the drags.

What ticket do I need for the Saturday night concert? All valid entry for Saturday allow access to the after racing concert.

What ticket do my kids need? Children under the age of 13 are free to enter the venue in general admission areas, however they must be accompanied at all times by their ticket holding parent or guardian. Please note children require ticketing for hospitality and grandstands.

Will I get a refund if I cannot travel due to COVID-19 travel restrictions? Yes if you are in a declared Hot Spot and cannot travel due to COVID-19 you will be eligible for a refund, please contact major.events@nt.gov.au

Accessibility

Who do I contact about access for people with a disability? Darwin Triple Crown welcomes people with a disability, please get in touch with us via the contact page or major.events@nt.gov.au and we can assist with any logistics.

What’s the site like for getting around? It can be challenging as we are in a Valley, there will be a dedicated accessible shuttle that can take you and a couple of mates to where you would like to be in the venue. Ask gate staff when you arrive and they will be able to call it for you.

Will there be an accessible viewing area for people with a disability? Yes there is a viewing area on the Terraces, we will produce a map highlighting the services for people with disabilities that will be at the gates when you arrive. If you want to plan please email, us at major.events@nt.gov.au and we can send it to you.

What can I bring?

Can I bring in food and drink? Yes pack a picnic! In regards to drinks please note you can bring in a bottle of sealed water only or bring an empty bottle and fill up at one of our refill stations.

What items can’t I bring in? Shade structures, alcohol, glass, illegal substances, fireworks or flares, laser pointers, weapons or resemblance of weapons, including knives, firearms, blunt offensive objects, projectile items including balls, Frisbees, rackets or similar objects, bicycles, skateboards, political or offensive materials, recording devices (for commercial purposes), animals (other than service dogs) and musical instruments or noise makers including drums, whistlers, air horns and loud hailers.

Can I bring my own fold up chair? Yes, we encourage patrons to bring their own chairs. Hidden Valley is a natural amphitheatre with plenty of natural and temporary shade throughout the General Admission areas.

General Information

Will there be big screens to watch the action? Yes to make sure you don’t miss any of the action there are seven big screens positioned throughout the venue.

What is the radio frequency if I want to bring a pocket radio? Live radio commentary of the racing is available on 96.1FM.

Can I get Food and Drink at the event? Yes the event is fully licenced and there are variety of food stalls offering a range of food, check back closer to the event and we will have outline of the food stalls.

Are there opportunities to volunteer at the event? Yes we have about 300 volunteers, all volunteer positions are motorsport related. Check out our volunteer page for more information.

Is this event COVID safe?

The event will take place in line with an approved COVID-19 Management Plan, which can be adapted accordingly as the COVID-19 situation evolves.
