The Darwin Triple Crown, once incredibly elusive, is the trophy on offer for Supercars drivers in the Top End.

Hidden Valley Raceway first joined the championship in 1998, but the 'Triple Crown' was first introduced in 2006.

The Triple Crown has gone through multiple format changes.

Scott McLaughlin (Saturday race win, Sunday pole position, Sunday race win) and Jamie Whincup won, before the new system came in for good.

The Darwin Triple Crown joins the likes of the Peter Brock Trophy, Jason Richards Trophy and Larry Perkins Trophy among Supercars' most prized trophies.

How do you win the Darwin Triple Crown?

From 2025, the betr Darwin Triple Crown entered a new era with a revised points-based system that will showcase and reward consistency and performance across the weekend.

The most points accumulated from three races will win the Triple Crown. This includes fastest lap bonus points, which are awarded to the driver who sets the quickest lap of the race, provided they finish in the top 15.

How tough was it to win the Darwin Triple Crown?

Before Feeney's three-from-three dominance in 2025, winning all three races has proven impossible in Triple Crown events.

Many drivers came close to winning three races, but fell short.

Russell Ingall (1999), Mark Skaife (2000), Todd Kelly (2005) and Jamie Whincup (2014) won the first two races.

Ingall (1998), Skaife (2002), Marcos Ambrose (2003), Craig Lowndes (2007) and Shane van Gisbergen (2021) won the last two races. Lowndes also won the first and third races in 2013.

McLaughlin and Broc Feeney swept the two-race events in 2019 and 2024.
