Important message from the Bathurst 1000 Camping Team
Due to COVID-19 and everchanging health and safety recommendations, THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON-SALE DATE FOR CAMPING AT THE 2020 SUPERCHEAP AUTO BATHURST 1000 WILL BE PUT ON HOLD (originally scheduled to open Monday 27 July 2020).
Supercars is working closely with NSW Health authorities to confirm details for camping at the 2020 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.
We ask that all of our loyal fans be courteous and understanding as Supercars navigates these unprecedented times.
We look forward to assisting you as soon as possible.

BATHURST 1000 CAMPING: GENERAL INFORMATION
Get amongst the cars and camp under the stars for a Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 experience like no other! Camping on the Mountain is the ultimate way to take your Supercars experience to the next level, secure your site now to ensure you don’t miss out! There are Eight Campgrounds available across the event precinct. All campers require General Admission Tickets to the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 in addition to their camping passes.
The Enduro campground is on the outside of the circuit, at the end of Conrod Straight which is the quickest part of the 6.2km Mount Panorama circuit. You'll be close to all the action as well as being able to walk across the bridge and down to the Paddock area to see both the Support categories and the Supercars. Campsite entry is available via Gate 15A with the best event entry being via Gate 19 and Gate 21. Toilets and Showers available on site.
There’s no better way to head to the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 than travelling up the mountain and setting up camp at the McPhillamy Campground. This is where the legends of Bathurst live. Campers come here year after year to show the true spirit of the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. Located on the top of the great mountain, this campground is near Skyline and the mountain’s esses. Toilets and Showers available on site. Access campsites at Gate 10 on Barry Gurdon Drive.
Reid & Sulman Campground
The Reid and Sulman Campground is located at the top of the great mountain in the perfect position to watch the cars ascent the mountain and fly across Skyline. Campers come here year after year to show the true spirit of the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. Toilets and Showers available on site. Access campsites at Gate 10 on Barry Gurdon Drive.
Max Cameron Campground
The Max Cameron Campground is located at the bottom of the track, near Hell’s corner. It’s close to Merchandise Alley, food stalls, drink stalls and pit straight. It is a perfect location to be amongst the hustle and bustle, yet still amerce yourself in the Bathurst camping atmosphere. Access to campground is Gate 5 with the best event entry at Gate 6. Toilets and Showers available on site.
Be right in the action and behind the pits in one of the most popular campgrounds, the Paddock Campground. Easy walking distance to the Support Category Paddock and Supercars Paddock (to which a Paddock Pass is required to access), this campground provides some great behind the scenes action. Toilets and showers available on site, accessible facilities included. Enter via the track pre- event at Gate 27, but from Thursday 9th October entry will be through the Orchard Campground, Gate 15A.
Located outside the circuit near the Chase, the Chase Campground is perfect for easy camping and close to the action. Toilets and showers available on site. Campsite entry is available via Gate 15B with the best event entry being via Gate 19 and Gate 21.
The Orchard Campground
Located outside the circuit, this campground has had a power re-vamp in 2020. This means that all Area B & Area C previous campers will have access to The Orchard Pre-Sale! See power map below for reference. The smaller powered sites are approximately 7x7m with the larger sites being approximately 15x6m, perfect for Motorhomes! Powered sites offer a 10amp single connection per site. The Orchard is perfect for easy camping with reasonably flat ground, toilets and showers available on site. Campsite entry is available via Gate 15A with the best event entry being via Gate 19 and Gate 21.
For those bringing Motorhomes or Caravans and want to still be in walking distance to the event, the Motorhome Campground is perfect for you. The Motorhome Park is located near the Enduro, The Orchard and The Chase campgrounds and Conrod Straight. The sites are powered and large enough to cater for Motorhome and Caravans (15amp single connection per site). You can walk to the track, or a free shuttle can take campers to and from the track across the weekend. Campsite entry is available via Gate 15A with the best event entry being via Gate 19 and Gate 21. Toilets and Showers available on site.
Harness Racing Club Motorhome Park
Supercars are pleased to announce that we have partnered up with the Bathurst Harness Racing Club again for 2020. The club will offer campers a Motorhome Park, equipped with fantastic facilities, adjacent to the Orchard campground off College Road. Located at the Bathurst Harness Racing Club, an onsite restaurant and bar, fully powered sites and a flat asphalt surface which is perfect for motorhomes and caravans. The Harness Racing Club has its own vehicle entrance point with the best event entry being via Gate 19 and Gate 21.
