Official Charity

The ITM Auckland SuperSprint is thrilled to have engaged the Wheel Blacks as our Official Charity of the event.

The men and women who play wheelchair rugby in New Zealand are united through the shared experience of having a disability… but are motivated and driven by the sport they love.

The disabilities they have don’t define who they are; they are defined by the passion and drive to play the sport they love, with no compromise, no regrets and no stigma, to the very best of their ability. They are proud to wear the Fern as an Athlete.

NZ Wheelchair Rugby organise and support quality social and competitive wheelchair rugby competitions, tournaments, events (domestic and international), and profile enhancing activities throughout NZ for players and member associations.

This includes support for our high performance team, the Wheel Blacks; an ongoing development pathway supporting from grassroots to high performance level for players, officials and for the growing national league.

Please dig deep and support this worthy team when you visit their activation site during the event.
