Merchandise Alley

Ready for Townsville? Gear up with our official 2018 Watpac Townsville 400 merchandise, available to purchase at the track in Merchandise Alley. 

Stock up on your favourite Team’s merchandise and Supercars gear. Plus check out some of the stunt team vehicles on display, enjoy a drink at the bars and grab a bite to eat.

Merchandise Alley will be in operation at the circuit on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will be located adjacent the Watpac SuperTop.

Autograph Signing Session

Head to the Supercars Paddock during the autograph signing sessions to meet some of your favourite Supercars drivers and grab an autograph. Free posters will be available for patrons at the designated autograph sessions.

The drivers of the Dunlop Super2 Series will also be on hand to meet fans at the Watpac Townsville 400.

Location: Hit FM Zone, beside Civic Centre, outside Paddock entry

Time subject to change. Paddock passes will be required to enter the Supercars Paddock.

Townsville Helicopters

Why not treat yourself or your clients to a helicopter ride over the Townsville circuit. Townsville Helicopters will be conducting Joy flights over the race track during race weekend with prices starting at $100 per adult, $75 per child.

Please contact Michelle Arnold from Townsville Helicopters on or 0438 027 367 to pre-book your helicopter seat, arrange transfers or special requests. Townsville Helicopters also has available FBO services for private aircraft visiting over the weekend.



The Helipad for Townsville Helicopters is located in the Townsville High School Car Park area, and will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

Coopers Roll Bar

Take a break from the on-track entertainment at the Coopers Roll Bar, located in the heart of the all the action opposite the Pit Garages. Enjoy the music, catch up with friends and maybe make some new ones.

The Coopers Roll Bar can be found in the High School Car Park behind mound five, opposite the pit garages, and will be open across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Watpac SuperTop

During the heat of the day relax in comfort with music, bars, food stalls, seating, tables and shade. A big screen will ensure you won’t miss a moment of the action. The SuperTop transforms to a mecca for Aussie rock, with Hoodoo Gurus and the Baby Animals hitting the stage Friday night and Aussie music royalty John Farnham and fellow Australian rock legend Daryl Braithwaite performing Saturday night.

The Watpac SuperTop is located behind the Supercars Paddock

Team Army

Project Digger is the Army’s latest recruitment tool. Based on a 1978 Ford LTD, Project Digger is powered by a blown 460 cubic inch Big Block Ford engine and develops nearly 700 hp at the back wheels. Armygeddon was the first burn out vehicle developed by Team Army. Based on a 6 x 6 Land Rover (the vehicle is a Veteran from the East Timor campaign), Armygeddon is fitted with a LS1 and develops over 600 hp. These V8 show stoppers are loud and aggressive and sure to put on an epic show when they hit the track over the weekend.
