Red Bull Racing Australia enters 2016 as Teams’ Champions for the seventh time, and sixth in a row. Triple Eight Race Engineering joined the V8 Supercars Championship in
2003, following an extremely successful British Touring Car Championship campaign.

Headed by Team Owner and Principal Roland Dane, Triple Eight has cemented its name in the sport’s history books, challenging for the title every year since 2005.

The team made the switch from Ford to Holden in 2010, winning the first four races of the season, whilst going on to claim the Teams’ title. Triple Eight has also confirmed itself as an enduro specialist, with six Bathurst 1000 victories.

2016 will see a new teammate for Jamie Whincup, with Kiwi flyer Shane van Gisbergen joining the ranks. Whincup will be challenging for his seventh Drivers’ Championship win, with Van Gisbergen aiming for his first.
