The Touring Car Masters yesterday confirmed its 2014 calendar, with all seven events running alongside the V8 Supercars.

A favourite support category to V8 Supercars, TCM fields historic muscle cars and classic exotics, with a star-studded field including Australian motorsport legends.

The Masters will kick-off the season at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide, one of the marquee events of the motor racing season, in late February.

From there, round two will be staged in regional Victoria at Winton Raceway, the category racing at the grassroots track for the fourth time in its history.

The Top End is next on the calendar, with another visit to the SKYCITY Triple Crown event in Darwin in

And as the V8 Supercars returns to Sydney Motorsport Park (Eastern Creek) TCM will also form part of the line-up in August. Sydney Motorsport Park has long been a staple on the Masters’ calendar, the category having raced on three of the four circuit configurations over the years.

Two of the three PIRTEK Enduro Cup events will see the Touring Car Masters on-track, with Sandown Raceway and of course the legendary Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 to feature.

Phillip Island will host the grand finale for 2014 in November.

With another round of new cars, fresh personalities and more stars, there is set to be many exciting changes to the format of the already strong series. That will mean more action for all, a kinder approach for the stunning machines, and far more opportunity for fans to be entertained and engaged with the Touring Car Masters.
