Cameron Waters has backed up his performance from this morning to top the time sheets again in the V8 Supercars Dunlop Series' final practice at the NP300 Navara Winton SuperSprint.

The series leader cemented his position at the top in the session's dying minutes, bumping Jack Le Brocq from the top spot with a 1min24.41 around the three-kilometre circuit.

But Paul Dumbrell - who is fighting with Waters to claim the series title for the third time - was outside the top ten, finishing the session in 11th after struggling with his Eggleston Motorsport Commodore throughout practice two.

Le Brocq was second fastest in the session - 0.47secs behind pacesetter Waters.

After setting the pace early on in the 40-minute session, Andrew Jones finished the final practice third quickest ahead of Chris Pither and Garry Rogers Motorsport prodigy James Golding.

MW Motorsport's Simon Evans showed his potential when he spent a large portion of the session in second position.

He was soon pushed back in the order however to finish sixth fastest.
