Paul Dumbrell split the MW squad, turning a 52.1275s after the chequered flag fell to place his Eggleston Motorsport Holden in third.

Macauley Jones had brought out the red flags in the closing stages, spearing into the gravel at Turn 4, before the session resumed with just under a minute remaining.

Dumbrell was the only driver to take advantage of the final minute in the session, squeezing in one final lap that moved him up from 11th.

Jake Kostecki took home fifth, ahead of Alex Marjoram who went quickest momentarily before the final five-minute bash pushed him down the order.

While Fullwood (Ford), Brodie Kostecki (Holden), Zane Goddard (Holden), and Shae Davies (Ford) rounded out the top 10.

Goddard was fastest of the rookies, while Thomas Randle could only best 17th, having finished fifth in the opening practice session.

A pair of 10-minutes ARMOR ALL Qualifying sessions will take place at 12:15pm on Saturday, before Race 1 in the afternoon.
