Andrew Jones' Dunlop Series Holden Commodore VEII, prepared by Brad Jones Racing, will be sponsored by Biante for a one-off livery change for the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.

Jones, who is currently placed third in the Dunlop Series (and is also co-driving with Jason Bright in the #8 Team BOC Commodore during the PIRTEK Enduro Cup), is excited by his new look.

“I think it is a ripper looking livery!” Jones exclaimed. “Our Dunlop Series car has become known for our alternating sponsor program and the Biante livery is something different to what we have done before, which makes it more unique.

“Biante and BJR have been tremendous partners for many years – back to the Audi days – so to be able to represent them in this way is tremendous.

“We have had a couple of third placed round results so far this year and as a group, we would like this to keep improving and to be able to move up on to the second or top step. The Bathurst event would definitely be a great event to achieve this.”

Biante Model Cars is an Australian manufacturer of limited edition model cars and has had a successful association with Australian motorsport for well over a decade. With Biante’s recent announcement to produce models of the Car Of The Future V8 Supercars for a range of teams for 2013, the decision to become a naming rights sponsor on a car during one of Australia’s most popular weekends of motorsport made a lot of sense.

“I’m delighted Biante will be supporting Andrew at Bathurst this year,” Biante General Manager William Hall said.

“Australia’s passion for motoring and motorsport is a passion we share, so to have recently committed to replicating the COTF platform for Holden and Erebus, plus this one off sponsorship with BJR will hopefully further cement our position in the marketplace as Australia’s leading model car manufacturer.

“Biante have had a long standing relationship with Brad Jones Racing, so much so that Biante Logos featured on Andrew’s Development Series Championship car back in 2004.”

The Dunlop Series is just one category lining up alongside the V8 Supercars at this year's Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 – with Touring Car Masters, V8 Utes and Carrera Cup supporting, as well as additional on-track displays.
