Fullwood fastest in Bathurst Super2 warm-up

MW Motorsport Nissan driver Bryce Fullwood topped the Dunlop Super2 warm-up ahead of Saturday afternoon’s non-points Bathurst 250km race.

Fullwood will start fifth later this afternoon, with team-mate Jack Le Brocq on pole.

The Darwin teen turned a 2:07.4594s during the 15-minute warm-up, shading Todd Hazelwood and Paul Dumbrell with the trio split by just 0.0425 seconds.

Le Brocq was fourth, having set a new Super2 lap record at Mount Panorama in qualifying on Friday afternoon, ahead of Macauley Jones, Andrew Jones and Jordan Boys.

Following his crash in qualifying, Jack Smith was back on track in his repaired Brad Jones Racing Commodore, setting the 14th-fastest time.

The 41-lap race will commence at 2:05pm.
