From 10am-2pm therewill be attractions and displays, a street car showing at the team’s Queenslandbase – and, of course, the chance to meet the drivers and theirco-drivers, along with local motorsport legend Dick Johnson.

With all the frillsa good family day needs – sausage sizzles, giveaways, displays and merchandise– there will be more announcements to come about additional attractions.

But the coolestpart for hardcore fans will be the opportunity to take a tour through theteam’s workshop. Get up close and personal with the cars – current carsand James Courtney’s 2010 Championship winner – see the team’s museum and theworking parts of the race cars up close. You can even touch them if you like.

Each tour will bearound an hour long – so there is the chance to get plenty of detail and learn all about the Championship – and it's just a gold coin donation.

From logistics and the transporter to thefabrication shop, no stone will be left unturned.

But it is first in, best dressed, so ensure youhead to the merchandise store early and book your place on the tour, which willtake up to 70 people per hour.

Lock in Sunday July 21, at 10 Emeri Street inStapylton, Queensland, to see just how the V8 Supercars Championship ischallenged.

The next Championship event is the Sucrogen Townsville 400 this weekend. Tickets are available through Ticketek.
