It's Ladies Day, race day and a Disney day - spend Saturday at the Castrol Townsville 500 - Driven by TAFE Queensland. There's something for everyone.

There's so much to do at the Castrol Townsville 500 -Driven by TAFE Queensland, it's too much for one day at the track!

But Saturday promises something for everyone, billed as Ladies Day and offering even more fun when you're not consumed by the on-track action.

It's the perfect family outing.

Use free public transport - included with your ticket -as you head into the Reid Park circuit. It's easy to get into the track- click here for all the options.

For early risers, ensure you have a paddock pass and you can meet the drivers at the autograph session at 8.45am - all Championship drivers will be present, so it's the perfect photo or autograph opportunity.

Shortly after at 10.30am the 25 V8 Supercars will be on-track for the weekend's final practice session. A grandstand ticket will lock in the ultimate seat.

Get your goodies and back to your seat - or one of the prime GA viewing points, around the 7-8-9 complex -for the two back-to-back qualifying sessions, determining the grid for the afternoon's two 125km races.

Ensure you have logged on to the Official V8 Supercars App for access to live timing during the session -there's no other way to be as informed at the track, than with the data live in the palm of your hand.

The biggest break in V8 Supercars action comes post-qualifying, which is your chance to explore and make the most of the entertainment options.

There really is something for every member of the family - dad can wander to the Coopers Full Strength Bar, while mum heads to the Super Top for the Sirromet Ladies Lounge, with the pamper zone activating that afternoon.

Hair and make-up touch-ups will be offered, with cheeky James Courtney kicking off the action at 12.40pm.

The Disney Fun Zone will be open all day for the kids, who can play on the inflatable playground and the grand prix circuit to help learn the road rules.

Head back to the stands to watch the first race - guaranteed to be action-packed, as the Championship hits the red-hot mid-season - at 2.15pm.

Dunlop Series fans can catch their first race - featuring Steven Johnson, Dean Fiore and a range of Pirtek Enduro Cup co-drivers - at 3.30pm as the main game V8 Supercars teams prepare for the final evening run at 4.40pm.

After the podium, head to the Super Top for the ultimate Ladies Day concert -Jessica Mauboy and Vanessa Amorosi, our Aussie divas with the big voices -at 6pm.

Public transport will be running, and taxis are available to take you home after the event, with an even bigger race waiting to erupt on Sunday.
