V8 Supercars CEO James Warburton will feature on Inside Supercars tonight talking about the future of the category and the street race that will take place in Malaysia next year.

This morning v8supercars.com.au revealed that Warburton was locking down next year's calendar - to be revealed in September - so tune in tonight for more from the Supercars boss on the sport's future.

On the panel will be Will Davison, who celebrated his first victory with Erebus Motorsport recently in Perth, and David Wall, who is settling into the Wilson Security Racing GRM team and the Volvo S60.

The two drivers took part in a live chat ahead of the show today, answering the fans' tough questions - and will face more questions on tonight's episode of Inside Supercars.

Wall said he was continuing to learn the nuances of the S60, as the team pushed through reliability issues early this season.

"A few mechanical dramas to start the season that were niggling away but we feel like we're getting on top of those. From a driving point of view, just trying to maximise [how] the car achieves its speed, which is different to the previous ones I've driven," he wrote.

Davison spoke on his time with Erebus and what he enjoys most about racing for the developing squad.

"I am enjoying the challenge of helping build up a team that was nearly starting from scratch. I love the passion of our boss and the mix of making it a viable business. I am enjoying a slightly smaller team with less politics and raising the bar higher and higher," he wrote.

The former Championship runner-up noted Townsville as his best chance to back up his Perth result.

"I'm feeling good going to Townsville. That was our strongest event of 2014, scored my first podium for the team there last year. We know how much we've improved in 12 months."

Tonight's instalment of Inside Supercars also includes a chat with Prodrive boss Tim Edwards, a tour through the refurbished DJR Team Penske workshop, and the usual news and gossip with James Phelps from The Daily Telegraph - so tune in tonight at 7.30pm on FOX SPORTS 506.
