After stealing the show in Adelaide the highflying Stadium Super Trucks are back.

They headline a huge undercard that includes the V8 Utes, Formula 4 and the final round of Carrera Cup, where Steven Richards has a huge battle on his hands to retain his crown.

Stadium Super Trucks

I've never seen a response to a form of motorsport like the one the trucks got at Clipsal. The crowd went wild every time they hit one of their crazy jumps and when teenager Sheldon Creed crossed the finish line upside down the cheer was similar to the one Scott McLaughlin received in 2014.

It will be great to get some of that old Indy flavour back with Robby Gordon, as well as 2014 Bathurst champ Paul Morris, stunt legend Matt Mingay, the show stopper himself Sheldon Creed and Matt Brabham, grandson of Aussie racing royalty, Jack Brabham.

Porsche Carrera Cup Australia

What a year it's been in Porsche Carrera Cup. After building a giant lead over the first two rounds, Steven Richards has been dramatically reigned in by young star Nick Foster. Now as we head to the final race, Foster has a small points lead and it's all to play for this weekend.

While those two play the championship game the two men who split the wins at the last round in Bathurst will likely run rampant at the front - Matt Campbell is in seriously good form and David Russell picked up a race win here last year.

East Coast Bullbars V8 Utes

Unless something dramatic happens the V8 Utes championship looks to be between two blokes, with two rounds to go - series leader Ryal Harris and defending champ Kris Walton.

Walton has hit form at the right time of the year but Harris is a whole race win ahead in the points.

Three races for the Utes this weekend including a reverse grid race, hmm, what was I saying about something dramatic happening?

CAMS Jayco Formula 4

Jordan Lloyd is skipping away with the inaugural F4 title. He was untouchable at the last round at Sandown and if he can get through this weekend unscathed he will be well on his way to the title.

The entire field is facing the biggest test in their young careers this weekend. They've only raced on one street circuit this year and that one (Townsville) is nowhere near as hard on cars as this place.

Given how unpredictable this track is we could see a first time race winner this weekend, Luis Leeds is my dark horse pick.

Chad's Fast Four

  • Trucks: Adding to the 'star factor' we have the son of reality TV identity and former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner racing this weekend. Burt Jenner picked up a win this season at Belle Isle.

  • PCCA: This is the closest the top four in the points have been coming into the final round of Carrera Cup ever. Could David Russell or Craig Baird cause an upset?

  • F4: How cool is it having open wheelers with wings and slicks back on the streets of Surfers Paradise!

  • Kerbs: Overuse of the curbs will lead to a five second penalty, expect to see at least one race where the leader knows a penalty is coming and tries to open up a five second lead to secure the win.

You can catch all the undercard action on Fox Sports 506 this weekend as well as selected races on Network Ten.
