Following an investigation and admission of Careless Driving by Scott Pye, Car #17, causing contact with Andre Heimgartner, Car #111, at Turn 1 on Lap 79, the Stewards imposed the penalty of the deduction of 25 Championship Points on Scott Pye, Car #17.
