Matters arising on Sunday11th October 2015

Matters from Warm Up:

There were no issues.

Matters from Race 25:

The Safety Car was deployed as follows:

Between 1138 and 1144hrs (Laps 15 to 16) as a result of Car #200 making contact with the barrier at Turn18;

Between 1226 and 1234hrs (Laps 35 to 37) to recover Car #111 from Turn 1;

Between 1405 and 1420hrs (Laps 79 to 82) to recover Car #3 from Turn 9; and

Between 1605 and 1641hrs (Laps 137 to 1641) to recover Car #17 from Turn 9.

The Stewards imposed the following penalties during the Race:

A Pit Lane Penalty on Car #3 for a driving infringement, Careless Driving (causing contact with Car #111 at Turn 1 on Lap 35);

A Pit Lane Penalty on Car #23 for a breach of Safety Car restart procedures on Lap 37 (weaving after the SC lights turned out);

A 15 second time penalty on Car #5 for failing to respond to the Mechanical Black Flag (Schedule D3 2.5.1);

A Pit Lane Penalty on Car #9 for a driving infringement, Careless Driving (causing contact with Car #222 at Turn 19 on Lap 55); and

A Pit Lane Penalty on Car #1 for a breach of Safety Car procedures (passing the Safety Car).

An investigation was conducted into the contact between Car #15 and Car #22 at Turn 23 on Lap 143 and no breach of the rules was established.

The Stewards imposed a fine of $350 on Car # 1 Jamie Whincup, for exceeding the designated pit lane speed limit at pit entry (44kph) - Rule D12.4.3.

Matters from Practice - Part 2 (Co-Drivers):

Following an investigation and admission of a breach of Rule D12.5.8.4 (working on Car #47 in the fast lane) by Walkinshaw Performance, the Stewards imposed the penalty of a fine of $1000 on Walkinshaw Performance.

Following an investigation and admission of a breach of Rule D12.7 (Use of Equipment/Tools) by Lucas Dumbrell Investments Pty Ltd, the Stewards imposed the penalty of a fine of $3000 and the deduction of 30 Teams Championship Points on Lucas Dumbrell Investments Pty Ltd.

Matters from Practice - Part 3 (All Drivers):

There were no issues.

Other Matters

Following an investigation and admission of a breach of Rule B6.5.4 (Conduct Prejudicial - statements made during Thursday's Press Conference) by David Reynolds, the Stewards imposed the penalty of a fine of $25,000 on David Reynolds.
