Stewards Summary Update #3 FINAL: issued Sunday 6th March 2016 at 2030hrs.

Matters from Race 3:

Following an investigation and an admission by Car #55, Chaz Mostert that he breached Schedule B2 Rule 2.1, Careless Driving causing contact with Car #15, Rick Kelly, the Stewards imposed a penalty of loss of 15 Championship points on Chaz Mostert.

Following an investigation and an admission by Car #2, Garth Tander that he breached Schedule B2 Rule 2.1, Careless Driving causing contact with Car #88, Jamie Whincup, the Stewards imposed a penalty of loss of 15 Championship points on Garth Tander.

The IO conducted investigations into Car #222 Nick Percat causing contact on Car #34 James Moffat, no breach of the rules were established.

The IO conducted investigations into Car #88 Jamie Whincup passing Car #222 Nick Percat while Yellow Flag was displayed, no breach of the rules were established.

The IO conducted investigations into Car #2 Garth Tander causing contact on Car #14 Tim Slade, no breach of the rules were established.

The following cars were penalised 60 seconds for not complying with the minimum Fuel Drop regulations:

  • -  Car #12 Fabian Coulthard

  • -  Car #17 Scott Pye

  • -  Car #14 Tim Slade

  • - Car #22 James Courtney

  • -  Car #34 James Moffat

    Matters from Top Ten Shootout:

    There were no issues.

    Matters from Race 3 Qualifying:

    The IO conducted investigations into Car #222 Nick Percat for blocking Car #9 David Reynolds during Race 3 Qualifying, no breach of the rules were established.

Stewards Summary Update #2: issued Sunday 6th March 2016 at 0840hrs.

Matters from Race 2:

The IO conducted investigations into the contact between Car #15 Rick Kelly and Car #12 Fabian Coulthard and did not establish any breach of the rules.

Matters from Race 1:

Following an investigation and an admission by Car #4, Aaren Russell that he breached Schedule B2 Rule 2.1, Careless Driving causing contact with Car #18, Lee Holdsworth, the Stewards imposed a penalty of loss of 25 Championship points on Aaren Russell.

Matters from Practice – Part 3:

There were no issues.

Matters from Meeting Rides:

Following an investigation and an admission by Super Black Racing Pty Ltd that they breached Rule D18.6.2, using Warm-Up tyres for Media Rides on Car #111, the Stewards imposed a fine of $2,000 on Super Black Racing Pty Ltd.

Following an investigation and an admission by Garry Rogers Motorsport that they breached Rule D18.6.2, using Warm-Up tyres for Media Rides on Car #33, the Stewards imposed a fine of $2,000 on Garry Rogers Motorsport.

Matters from Qualifying – Race 2:

There were no issues

Matters from Qualifying – Race 1:

Following an investigation and an admission by Aaron Russell, Car #4, that he breached Schedule B2 Rule 2.1, impeding Jamie Whincup, Car #88 at Turns 13 & 14, the Stewards imposed the penalty of a loss of two (2) Grid Sport in Race 1.

Competitor & Drivers’ Briefing:

The Stewards imposed a penalty of $250 on the following Competitor and Drivers for late attendance to Competitor & Drivers’ Briefing;- Garry Rogers Motorsport: Scott McLaughlin Car #33, James Moffat Car #34.
